Fee Change Log
We record every verified change to the fee figures we publish. Entries are added only after human review of an official source (PRD §9.1, YMYL). The AI “Fee Watch” pipeline may propose updates, but none are published without review.
Published fee changes
Only verified changes to the US standard online merchant rates we publish appear here. The current dataset is the initial seed capture; no later changes have been published.
| Date | Processor | Change | Grade | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-11-07 | All (seed capture) | Initial dataset captured from each processor’s official US pricing page. | A | Stripe / PayPal / Square official pricing |
How a change gets published
An automated watcher may draft a proposed update when an official pricing page changes, but nothing is published automatically. A human reviews the source, checks the evidence grade and date, and approves the entry. Fee data is financial information, so this review step is mandatory — see our methodology for the full verification cadence.
Scope of this log
We track one narrow, verifiable rate per processor: the US standard online merchant rate. In-person, international, micropayment, and custom/negotiated pricing are outside the dataset and therefore outside this log. Current figures are on the fee data pages.
